green energy made easy

RedOx Biofuels makes technology for producing ethanol and other high-value fuels and chemicals from low-cost, ligno-cellulosic feedstocks. Our mission is to reduce the world's dependence on fossil fuels by making the production of alternative fuels and chemicals dramatically more cost effective and environmentally sound.

Our technology, a proprietary electrochemical synthesis process known as Metal Mediated Reduction Oxidation (MMR), requires no pre-treatment of feedstocks, generates little or no secondary waste, and scales to accommodate any production capacity. RedOx MMR complements both new and existing fuel production operations, enabling customers to achieve higher yields while expanding their feedstock options beyond expensive, controversial food sources.

RedOx is a subsidiary of Applied Intellectual Capital (AIC) Inc., developers of sustainable technologies for meeting today's environmental challenges and emerging markets. Located in Alameda, California, AIC funds, develops, patents, and commercializes breakthrough technologies based on electrochemistry. The company also operates product-engineering facilities in Hethel Engineering Centre, Norwich, UK.
